I wonder how can people be so negatively criticizing Prince that way..??

Isn't it that you, who see all the "look alike, whenever someone likes a person, he sees that one in all others whom he likes also..

I mean, you can see similarities, you can see An Afro looking like another afro, it's only in your eyes.

The man has his style, on stage, in front of cameras, on tv etc.. he's an artist and a "character" as well, in order to protect himself..

When you see him live, the first minutes, his "jaw" is a bit stressed, his nerves are on peaks, then little by little, when he makes one with his music and the feeling he's got from the audience, he becomes natural: relaxed and no other style, just himself..

Of course, IMO, from my Point of VIEW and from what I, can feel

I wonder how you can read what I posted and interpret it as me "negatively criticizing" on Prince.

Then I wonder how I'm supposed to read your post and keep my eyes from bleeding and my brain from breaking. Proper paragraph breaks, proper punctuation and "having a point" are your friends.

I have no idea whatsoever what you tried to say there other than "Herb4 is picking on Prince."

I think MUSICOLEGY was the 1st album where I got the feeling that he had finally ran out of new tricks ... altough i love the album ... it is just prince doing prince .. an nothing new

that isnt always a bad thing IMHO though . hell many bands/artists been doing the same thing from day one an it works like that . THE ROLLING STONES .. THE WHO .. KINKS .. JOHNNY CASH .. KILLERS .. RAMONES etc ..

but FEEL BETTER, FEEL GOOD, FEEL WONDERFUL etc .. its a bit like .. oh i heard this b4

20TEN was similar

but with these new tracks i hear something fresh an slightly new about em

whenever i want to hear some new music ...i make some - prince '99'

I read your post as "negative" towards Prince, and Lenny Kravitz, according to me only, it's your point of view, we don't see things the same way, this isn't much very personal matter, it's only a "discussion"..we are exchanging our points of views, my punctuation might not suit yours because, maybe I am writing as french people do, to emphasize on what is important for me.

Anyway..

However, you are right, that Lenny has "copied" some other artists, but nowadays, he's got his own style;

From that, you can't say that Prince is copying in return, no, I don't think so.. maybe I don't get your point in this post...?

To me, he's a professionnal, and a master into this field and business; Prince is just a "character" often! In that case, he can wear whatever the suit, put on any type of mask, still, making up his fac: he's "playing".

On stage when he plays his music live, then all makeup, all masks vanish, to reveil the true and real Man.
