Saw this on my facebook page.

The guy with the beard and flatcap who is 2 along from Prince is a good friend of mine called Skip McDonald. He was an original member of the Sugarhill houseband and now records under the name Little Axe.

I engineered for him for a few years in the 90's and was always bringing him new Prince stuff to listen to.

I remember when Come was released we listened to it in the studio and Skip saying "How does he do that?" while listening to Race. He was talking about the fact that it was a complete song but sounded so empty even though there was a lot going on.

I also played him 'Come 2 My House' by Chaka fairly recently and I didn't mention Prince's involvement. After 2 songs he said "Did Prince do this? You can tell."
