Okay, I was looking and chuckling a bit at this until I saw "...by Bruce LaBruce" at the bottom. Holy fuck, Bruce is one of my all-time favorite queer icons. Absolutely adore him, especially his early films like "No Skin Off My Ass" and in particular "Super 8 1/2". Brilliant stuff.
His last few movies have been more porn than art, albeit extremely unconventional porn (the last one I saw, "LA Zombie" is perhaps the only zombie flick-slash-gay porno ever made. In case you were wondering, zombies apparently have black sperm, lol.
His book "The Reluctant Pornographer" is a favorite, as well. He is definitely responsible for taking me past the stage of just accepting my homosexuality and really fucking embracing it.
