Red Headed Stepchild-Prince's best rock production Prince likes to watter down his rock music, often breathing life to a song in a live setting.RHS from Tamar album is Prince at his best when it comes ti rock, loud heavy guitats with a very natural sound with lot of punch.in terms of studio production this rocker blows all others

I agree; this songs rocks hard and sounds a lot hotter than Screwdriver. I wish he would re-claim it. Still looking forward to a new album with some diverse music. Seems like the ol' boy is inspired again.

Unfortunately, I've never heard the studio version. I loved it live though. I was so disappointed when the album wasn't officially released.

Yeah i agree whole heartedly. One of his all too few let it loose/live guitar moments in the studio. It's production value captures the reckless abandoness of his soaring guitar track. Pure Ear Candy.
I saw him perform this live at The Fillmore in SF and his solo went on for close to ten minutes if I remember right.
