Prince Music On 'Stand Up America'!

There was a documentary on BBC2 last night about the development of Stand-up comedy in the USA. Last nights edition focused amoungst others Richard Pryor.

It was interesting, and i'd advise you to catch the repeat if you get the chance.

What does this have to do with Prince you ask?

Well, near the end when the discussion came round to how 'stand up' became an industy, as opposed to an artistry, 'Controversy' came on.
It played in the backgound for a couple of minutes.

- Considering this track is from '81 it sounds so fu8kin fresh! You could release this now and it'd be a hit-

Then to top things off, right at the end when they spoke alittle about Chris Rock, 'Sexy MF' came on!

It was so cool to hear two Prince tracks in an cool show.

What did come to my attention though was that 'Sexy MF' sounds far more dated than 'Controversy'.

Anyone agree on this?

"YEAH!!!"

"Yeah, well then fuck those other fools!"
