Prince US BMG Direct Marketing CDs Just wondered which Prince albums were made available by BMG Music Club in US?
I'm a bit of completist...(!)
So far, I have tracked down -
Dirty Mind 1999 Purple Rain Sign O Times Graffiti Bridge Diamonds & Pearls Hits 1 Hits 2 Hits/B-Sides
Can anyone add any to this list? I know very little about these. Were all albums released... or all up to a point?

do you mean which albums were sold by BMG as part of their 12 cds for a dollar but then you have to buy so many more at twice the cost?
if so everything through lovesexy at least was sold by them.... "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

That's how I got started with my Prince collection - cost only 1 penny to get all of his 80s output. Things were easier back then

The "Graffiti Bridge" cd is the real gem. It has a completly different booklet which has the symbol on almost every page and a rare group photo of the GB band with Dr. Fink. I don't really know how that happened but no other release has that booklet. Check it out. Peace Big Chick | |

I picked up a weird BMG version of SOTT - in the clamshell, with two separate booklets (I know some clamshells came with a single booklet containing all the lyrics). Plus, the back lists only the songs on disk 1! The spine has printing on one end of the cover and a plian white spin on the other with the BMG catalogue #.
Looks kind of cheap and made up. Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com

I actually have it in storage right now since i'm in the process of moving. Maybe ask the original poster to see if he can scan his. Or anybody on this thred that has a BMG copy of it.
