1) being compensated because of Mani's inability to "provide" for the next few months

2) impending war


3) feels slighted by the lack of support

He just ended a tour.He's 44. Damn. He lays low for 10 minutes and he's "dissappeared"?. Im glad he is laying lo or not in the eye right now because whatever happened all we did was argue about the right n wrong of whatever happened.

Well I say this because...

NO word on CELEBRATION

I think he's waiting to see what develops

Ahem. (Clearing my throat, here, to speak!) Let's all face it 1 another. HE, our Prince, is but one man spreading himself amongst this "world of family" he has! He's not truly disappeared, but is, as we all know, giving of himself in many ways - many more than most of us are able to comprehend. He, I believe, is a person of true human spirit (by his creative and artistic ability), that exceeds beyond our everyday human natures. Why must we forever question his "personal" time? A creative person as he is, always needs a little bit of serenity to keep his mind actively flowing! We will always encourage him to keep up his wonderful work, because it will always be appreciated by those who understand art! MY SINCERE ADMIRATION TO PRINCE, FOREVER THE MUSIC ARTIST (And his music spirit is so strong, our 4 year old son is emblazoned with everything Prince; likewise, our 2 year old son is keeping pace with his older brother!!)

We have nothing more to say here, except OUR FAMILY HERE IN RICHMOND, VA REALLY LOVES PRINCE and we've missed his "supposed" ONE NITE ALONE TOUR first of April 2002. Anyone have a comment? Not questioning his whereabouts at the time, just like to know if anyone knows of the shedule change. In mid-March 2002, the Prince One Nite Alone Tour came on the radio and on the internet, then disappeared completely prior to the performance date! No media mention whatsoever! What happened??

I'd rather Prince take some time out, write and record some high quality songs, than him finish the tour last year and knock out some late '90's style, Kirky J produced, 5 minute slappy dappy release.

For all we know, he could be producing some kick ass record, but as always, only a week after the next one drops, half of the people on this site are going to be like "Im bored with this release, When is the next one coming Prince?"

...and he mainly recorded and toured for over 2 decades straight, give the brotha long service leave, he deserves it

He's letting us all just stew for awhile and work up a good strong hunger.

He'll be back full force when he feels the time is right.

I sure wish he'd say something about the NPGMC situation though.

these r thoughts i think when this topic is brought up:

1: he finished an almost year-long tour,along with working out the NPGMC...dropped a live album 4 fans,also Xpectation,also ONA.b4 that he did TRC...which is an album that grows on you,& when it does,BOOYAH!...its an excellent listen

2: he has a wife whom im sure he loves dearly,& perhaps wants 2 spend more time with... maybe just chillin out, etc,...


give him some time... Njoy the music we have,
& get happy when he gives us another masterpiece like TRC.

hopefully he's knockin' up his wife and chillin' watchin' some NBA.

'Why Prince has disappeared'

Because he's trying a new magic trick.

Eric Leeds told someone in Vegas that Prince was going to take 4 months off so that would be about the end of April. So let's wait and see.

Maybe he is just going to do shows and sell retail and not communicate with the fans. because of the JW thing.

But I know it is out of the fans hands.

But I don't know how Prince could feel slighted by the fans.
Some people travel many miles and spend their last dime to see him. I feel like maybe he is going to slight the fans because we don't go to the K H, but I hope my thoughts are wrong.

Im sure music isnt the only thing Prince enjoys.

He's still here. We shrink as we get older, didn't you know?

I'm sure he needs to recharge. And frankly, I doubt that the overall lukewarm reception of the NPGMC has him feeling encouraged about the whole idea. Maybe he's planning something different.

I personally hope that he is giving this whole JW thing some serious reconsideration and heading into yet another, better, less religious-fundamentalist-preacher-wacko phase, but I realize that is a selfish and probably futile hope.

I was trying to find out if anyone knew of Prince's cancellation of the Richmond, Va "One Nite Alone Tour" in early April 2002. About mid-March,a local radio station was announcing Prince's visit, and it appeared as Richmond, Va listed for visit by Prince the first week of April 2002 on the internet. Then one week prior to the scheduled visit, all announcements halted! For no reason and/or none ever given!

Maybe all who would be interested should consider starting Our own Prince Fan Club right here in our Va State Capital of Richmond, Va? Think of it as creating a family! I'm sure (and have no doubt) that is what He, our Prince, would certainly like us to do! (D.C. already has!).
