not at the moment, just listening to flutestramental, that repeating snarl sample, spooky keyboards, keyboard sample flute, prince doodling around. 1000x more interesting than anything on TV and the radio.

If you can't find anything you like in the numbers Prince has released over the last couple of weeks, I would say it's pretty much time to listen to something else, really.

He is a douchebag because he even creates a screen name related to the recent events and then has nerve to talk mad shit. This happens all of the time. Folks creating accounts just to do such things. And those things are douchbagerry hence the op is a douchebag.

And the people who are here who do criticize at least relate to why they are criticizing for the most part..in their known older screen names.

This is anything but a time for a Prince fan to be bored, there's so much happening at the moment. Fair enough if you don't like the songs but I don't see how you can be bored with what's happening. We've had a good flow of new tracks which are all very different sounding, so who knows what's coming next, maybe the next one will be to your taste.

The only way I can see that someone could not like anything this period is if they still want Prince to sing about fucking his sister. If that's what you're looking for then it really is time to clear off and do something else.

Personally I'm happier with the way things are now than I have been in a while and this is from someone who has actually liked the last few albums. Exciting times are afoot. Definitely not boring.

I miss the days when he did that.

It was really cool because just when you got your fill of his new material, there was a single from a "new new new" album with the notes "music from the forthcoming album...." which always got me excited.

The problem is that back then, it also came with a new sound, new look, etc.--his albums used to be events.

This thirdeyegirl thing is interesting, and I think the non-membership, pay per song thing is ok, though it needs previews clilps; however, it's smacks of the NPGMC 3-tracks a month deal which wasn't my favorite time of Prince's career.

Overall, it just feels uninspired.

But, at least this time it's doesn't feel like a scam.

picked the user name because i thought it was catchy and I am indeed excited about these recent developments but after hearing the songs, they just fail to excite me more

it all just sounds like something that should be on a Christian radio station - no edge to it - no soul - no funk

Screwdriver is a pretty decent pop song.
