He Really Is So Fucking Cool. Every time I watch this man I am in awe. Just been watching the live Screwdriver vid again and it's just so amazing watching him sing and play. He's such a fucking guitar god! To not be a fan of Prince is something that I just couldn't imagine. That's it for the fawning praise for this half of the year  However I would say that musically this man is a MASTERPIECE... lol. | |

Coupled with the relaxed swagger as he walked on at the Grammys, I agree. I know it's all image and pre-thought out (using that term rather than "planned"), even the moment when the camera came back to him and he removed his shades while saying "and the record of the year goes to..."
He is a cool dude.

I agree! He is a master of his craft and I truly believe one day in the distant future he will be recognized as "the" greatest musical artist of his time and the one truly ahead of his craft.
His latest output is smashingly fantastic and superb for pop and rock. The Screwdriver video is a simplistic but fun gem showcasing an artist in raw form. It gives me a vibe of an upcoming artist with his band just starting out...like something you would see as a lost vault film in a documentary spanning the career of a phenominal artist.
