Has Prince Ever Considered Building His Own Church?

:

It really seems like he would have an instant congregation. Perhaps using a different approach than the usual "preacher at the podium" type that is so common today.

Have it more like a bible study group, where everyone does readings and discusses what the passage means to them. As well as how they would adapt this into their lives.

Would you make it a point to attend, if so, would you do it with sincerity in your heart? Not just because you are a fan

I have always thought that Prince, the man, is very gifted in enlightening those willing to listen to his message.

What do you think?

Well I wouldn't go if it was JW influenced because I'm not interested in their teachings.

I would've gone to the Lovesexy Lectures though wink

I would go because I seriously would like to hear Prince speak on God and how religion has changed his life, and has seemingly made him a happier, more contented man. I'd listen to him with an open heart, just as I would listen to anyone spreading God's message.

I am always interested and more than willing to listen to anybody who can possibly teach me or guide me towards being a better person and living a more fulfilling life. Prince seems much more at peace with his life than I am with mine right now...I surely can't dismiss the possibility that I could learn something beneficial from him and his faith that would help me in my own religious path.

I think Prince would have a hard time being perceived and accepted as a preacher though, and trying to separate from people's perceptions of him as a performer and musician. But who knows?

It'd be interesting. biggrin

Then he'd never get out of Paisley Park.

He's already got food, and all his toys and complete staff there. If he had a church next door, then he'd really be an island!

I like Prince, but I wouldn't attend.

I would think that many would come just because he is Prince, and not for the word of God..

That is just my opinion.

Many are called but only a few are chosen.

If that ever happened (and I hope it never does), I'm sure the focus of worship would be Prince.
