Is RNR Remix 7 produced and performed by Prince? I'm really digging this remix. The music is so funky and interesting. The guitar and horns are great and so is the bouncing beat. It's no longer a straight rock n roll song, which is a little odd given the title, but it still works. But it sounds very different from any Prince song I've heard. So do you think Prince produced this remix? Or somebody else? Also, who do you think is performing the space effects, guitar, horns, keyboards, drums, and whatever else? If this is Prince, lets hear more of it. If this has somebody else's hands all over it, let me know who so I can check out more of their stuff and please work with Prince again. I would love a whole album, or should I say collection of songs, like this! "Love & honesty, peace & harmony"

I have no idea, but this version is far superior to the single version. Prince 4Ever.

What does this even mean?

Possible. I assume it is (or by somebody close to PP) because he sold it at 3EG. There is no way Jamie Lewis would sell that track outside of PM's reaches. (Nevermind if JL had produced this, he would've put this on the RNRLA EP instead of the inane remixes.)

This is what I believe. For 2 reasons:
A) The music reminds me of Chelsea Rodgers... but, better!
2) It feels more like a "Beautiful Experience" type 12" track than a "Dance For Me" type 12" track. More like a reinterpretation of his own song than a remix by a dj with a keyboard.
That said, I don't know, but want to know the answer to your question. I need LINER NOTES, dammit!

Whoever produced it.... It's seriously awesome! Can't believe I passed on this song on first listen. "Still Crazy 4 Coco Rock"

This track came up on my playlist today and I still think out of the new batch of songs, this is one is by FAR the best. I still love it. Granted, I have not listened to "boyfriend" yet, but because of my allergic reaction to the extra cheesy thick crusty tracks from this project so far, this one is my fave.

Yes, this remix is really good. The original mix has an amazing space to it, but "groove wise", the remix is much better than the original IMO.
All these new tracks breath inspiration. Prince has his finger on the hip button.

Personally I think this version is an early 'demo' of the song. It's not a remix - I can't hear any of the instrument tracks from the released version. His tracks probably go through many different treatments before he arrives at what he wants... If this theory is correct might explain why the mp3 was only encoded at 160 - basically to try to disguise the fact it hadn't gone through a proper mix/mastering process.
