I miss read this at first. I thought you were saying it has the same horns from She Spoke to Me, PERIOD. (Emphatically stating that they were copied or pulled from that song.)

Yes, it's the muted trumpets and bone that give it that vibe. There's actually 2 passes of horns on this track, one with bari, tenor, muted trumpets and bone, & the other with alto, tenor, open trumpets and bone. You can really hear both distinct passes at the end , but there are few other places where they are together, while other times they trade off.

After listening to this some probably about 5 time I can say that without a doubt its a fucking banging track. I didn't like it so much on the first listen, but the horn arrangements and drum track make this song the shit. Love it.

Is this the song long rumored to be included on the "Great Gatshy" soundtrack? Kinda makes sense with the lyrics although the production would probably need to be tailorted to the era.

According to Doc FB this is version 2 of 4, hence calling it a demo.
When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Nah, those part of the lyrics are penned by Dave1992 himself, trying to be funny by drawing parallels between someone's peculiar word choice and Prince's peculiar word choice in a song. Nevermind, I might have simply eaten too much of that sugary ice-cream.

Does anyone know how to get ur downloads into iTunes ? It worked easy with the first two song releases. Now all the new stuff is sum new format and looks like I have to pay for there software?? Can any1 help?? This does not compute
