Girls & Boys is classic. And I agree with Bobby Z that it should've been the follow up single after Kiss.

Or better yet, have Girls & Boys as a B-side to Mountains in the U.S. and release both videos on the same day, if possible.

Girls & Boys got a lot of radio airplay here in Cali at the time. It really didn't have 2 b a single here. I think it helped the Parade album sells. Just like "Adore did 4 SOTT album/cassette sells...

as a soundtrack for a movie no matter what the reviews at least release 4 singles with 4 Bsides, we only received 2 B sides from Parade

I could easily see Manic Monday included in this movie or a B side, He definately should have kept it for himself, and/or release Jill Jones Mia Bocca as a Bside, it would have given her/that song particulaar notice, especially since it was in the movie

I had Old Friends 4 Sale taped from the radio back then. They played it as a promo for the movie, so I had 3 extra songs not on the album

But i always looked at it sung in a female point of view & Mary Sharon was a rich girl in the movie...The song is mainly about a couple(which could have been Tricky & Chris since thier relationship was suspect in the movie ) that had to get up early to go to a nine to five job.So to me that didn't fit the plot of Sharon who was filthy rich..

Parade is Prince's only masterpiece, in my opinion, so I'm diggin' the
