There are so many fantastic Prince lyrics out there that make me think, get inspired, or even bring me to tears. But if I could only pick one line to be my all time personal favorite, I would have to go with "The opposite of NATO is Otan" (Or Oten). I think it's a line that is commonly overlooked and not really appreciated for its depth and the incredible thought that's put into it.

So! If you could only choose one line from any Prince song (or video) to be your personal favorite Prince line ever, what would it ultimately have to be?

From the album 1999:

That immediately comes to mind. It's like a mission statement, saying I'm gonna come strong, have fun, and blow your mind with this slamming electro-pop-funk.

Funny thing is I'm not very religious, and Let's Pretend We're Married isn't one of my favorite songs. But that section kind of functions as an interlude between Married and DMSR. And you'll notice from screen name, that 1999 is one of my favorites.
