Thats a perfect name for this outfit..and if he changes bands later down the line give that band a new name etc etc...THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT NPG...

its three women..thirdeye girl is a fitting name (dont get on me about the girl portion, you know what I mean) which represents and respects their skills as a band

he dodnt call Sonny and Bland NPG..he called it that Trio

A bit? TWENTYFIVE YEARS. It's time to move on. They were the new power generation, sick and tired of old ideas and stuff.... Now it has become an old idea itself. As an artist he should be creative enough to invent a new name.

Remember the rumors of 10,000 and people wanting a new band names many moons ago. I like the NPG moniker but it is dated.

NPG is so old and lame now. He needs a new band name especially since most people say they dont like the NPG. He needs to continue with something new and fresh

Ok, I made the last part up. Even Sting probably thought the NPG Operator was corny, and despite all his intellectual powers, Sting is one Corny Mo Fo.

i don't really care what he calls his band. just hire some hot ones or semi-talented ones that pick up your slack, my good man . let 'em sing, so i can go to the bathroom, but do the same yourself doe-eye, so i don't feel too bad for them .

No I did not say they would not LIKE the band name - I said they would wonder what "New Power Generation" (NPG) was all about - it sounds so dated and not relevant to now. Maybe they would say "what the hell is new power generation???????".

I dont think he really needs to name the band anyway - that in itself is old fashioned.

Just Prince is enough - most artists do not name their bands.

Would make it easier in Prince's case seeing he switches members all the time?

I don't think he needs a new name..It's cool I MEAN NPG, it has already stayed with us this long. AND the fact of the matter is, PRINCE IS THE NPG, we just call him Prince. lol
