So, summerizing this thread;

Prince loves a secretive person for 7 years now.

But he's sick of waiting in vain and wants her to choose for him.

And synchronize their (spiritual) ideals or both go their own way.

OldFriends4sale knows what this is about or just really ejoys the lyrics of Prince songs/poems.

Adonia would love to be his new love, she is convinced she would be a much better partner for Prince.

I hope it's not Mayte who is cheating on her boyfriend with Prince.

And who wants to be famous and earn money because she has been with Prince and Tommy Lee. She can't earn her money with real skills.

I'd have to disagree dJJ. I thought Prince made some of his best music with Mayte. I actually think this is about Andy Allo or someone new who's in the entertainment business as well.

Also have seen the film and I definitely see th references to "The Adjustment Bureau". I feel like he's written this for Misty or Andy in some ways. Misty's star is definitely rising and she's a well known celebrity now. Andy's star is rising but she's becoming more well-known with each day. Also, while she's affiliated with NPG she seems to be doing her own thing now and not just hanging out at Paisley anymore or jet-setting with P. She's made a lot of hints about being with her brother in "Ravens land" and she's been posting a lot about family interactions and such. I think she's moved on with her life. I think another big hint is the frequent references to the stars, sun etc which was a common theme on Andy's album. I even read in an interview with her at hellogiggles.com where she said they were studying astronomy and time travel. They were both in LA for the Grammys yet they didn't attend any events together. She'llforever be known as a prince protege now but she seems to be taking that title and trying to become her own artist. She's still promoting his stuff and releasing that U Will B demo but I don't think they're together anymore.

Another thought is that this is about the new dancer Lala, she's been tweeting a lot about being in love and love so maybe he's with her now and the 7 years time frame might fit as she's been around for awhile now (since the Chocolate Box video). Another woman I wouldn't rule out would be Bria. Yes we haven't seen her in the public eye but I feel like she's still around and they did seem to be in love and they went everywhere together. The 7 year time frame would definitely fit for them. Always hard to keep up with P and his dalliances. He seems to be back to his old player ways!

Im with you! Lala the dancer is new and so is that Stella Blu girl so it could be about them. Lianne La Havas and Delilah are good guesses also but I dont know if any of them have boyfriends. Prince is surrounded by too many beautiful women to know so unless he wants to make it known we might never know.

We'll wait & see then.
