I've never found a full soundtrack version of Parade (Under the Cherry Moon). All those wonderful background musical interludes and segues placed in between the hit songs - pure Prince and the Revolution. Wouldn't it be nice to have the full movie soundtrack? Does one exist?

I feel confident in saying this will never be released. Why would it, nearly 30 years later?

You have to think that the sound technician has it. Find him, ask him, and get back to us (Yes I'm serious).

I've had fun getting and editing off all the tracks from the DVD, but most are incomplete and have dialogue on 'em, but it's better than nuthin' and i kinda dig lissenin to 'em

Unless any of them were die hard Prince fans, they probably couldn't get rid of anything to do with being attached to that film fast enough. The movie was actually pretty good for what it was. Too bad he had already saturated the market with too many albums, and the album only had one really flawless single. Had he kept it in the can for a future home video release, it would have been viewed as MJ's Moonwalker was...just a home video. Kiss would have been a killer first single for SOTT, but oh well.
