What's the best Guitar Solo That you've seen Prince do live? To take you back a hundred years or so, one of the best guitar solos that I've seen Prince do was at Park West in Chicago during the second leg of the "Dirty Mind" tour.
The shows were more loose then and Prince had just started playing the famous Tele that everyone knows today (he use to play and old Fender with a mirror pickguard). On this particular song though, he played a red heartshaped Telecaster (cut up by Knutt Koupee no doubt) and did the song "Crazy You". At the end of the song they started a vamp section and Prince went into this amazing guitar solo. I haven't seen that guitar or heard that song since. Oh well, long live the memories. | |
