Hmv.co.uk Review of TRC Album As you all may or may not know, TRC is getting it's offcial release in the UK. Here is a positive review from HMV about it.
"'With the accurate understanding of God and his Law they went about the work of building a new nation: the rainbow children'. So begins the first full-length studio album from Prince since he reclaimed his name and donned the mantle of a devout Jehovah's Witness. Musically a mix of ballads, outer-space jazz and James Brown-styled funk, 'The Rainbow Children' is his most spiritually aware work since his 1987 masterpiece, 'Sign O' The Times'. Bold, challenging and often wildly experimental, 'Muse to the Pharoah' proves he still knows his way around a slow jam better than anyone else, whilst other standouts are too many to list. Described by the man himself as 'a headphone album, not easily defined', 'The Rainbow Children' is not just a record, it's an experience. And it's one you won't get from any other artist in existence today."

It's his most spiritually aware album since SOTT - not Lovesexy? ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

You can't blame HMV. Sign O The Times should get more respect than Lovesexy, from a commercial point of view anyway.

true...but then they should've said "his most musically creative/cohesive album since..." and not "his most spiritual..." but, whatevs...still a great review!
