That's why I never tell my friends about prince's websites or new streams, and don't post in other forums about it. This stuff doesn't last long in princeworld, and then you look like an idiot and have to explain why prince acts so strange.

Again, I hope this isn't what's happening. I truly love the idea of purchasing new music from his own website.

I am NOT the smartest apple in the bunch, I consider myself as having average intelligence, I'm nothing special, but I own a small business and UPDATE THE WEBSITE MYSELF it's really no big deal. For serious wtf is wrong with you Prince?! It's not like you need to be a tech wiz to have a website now adays. Why go to all the trouble of having someone create the website and put it up (the hard part) and then not follow through putting up videos and content (the easy part) and charging people money for it through paypal.

With all your money you can't hire someone as skilled as me and throw $60,000 a year their way and forget about all it?

The website isn't down, it was change to a blank black page that says "coming soon" in the status bar - so yes, whoever is in charge has done that, and I can only guess that Prince has the final say so.

He hasn't given us what we were asking for at all. Some people are experiencing difficulties in receiving what they have paid for - again. He launches a new official website, a week or two later it goes to a blank page and a new website appears it looks sketchy as hell with nothing on it at all, but a couple of mp3s for sale.

Would it be so difficult to have a simple statement that this is an official site, have some contact information for customers and offer lossless downloads or a choice of formats. This is something countless other artists, big and small operations find incredibly easy to do - because it is easy. In fact everything Prince does other acts seem to find incredibly easy - it all points to the same broken communication and mismanagamenet that everything else he does exhibits.

Great point Serpan. Just keep it basic: MP3s and vids. But definitely need consistency and reliability or else it will continue to be a bitchfest.

I agree that it needs consistency and reliability and I am sure initial glitches r worked on. But then again...how many of the errors r based on the website itself or people using the site the wrong way? Or being impatient and doing whatever, not saying who's 2 blame...not my business. I do know hundreds of people got their 4 downloads in less then 2 minutes. And if Prince continues 2 share files this way at a ridiculous cheap price then props and pounds 4 doing so!

I think its simply a case of biting off more than he can chew. He's rehearsing for a world tour but wants to get the ball rollin with dloads. I can't get too mad about it beacuse at least we're getting new music at a reasonble price. Most of us that have been onboard for awhile realize nothing with Prince is a slam dunk, I'm pretty stoked so far to be honest.

People bitch about it because it´s not that hard to have a good website up. Just have a site with video´s, info and download options for music.

Keep it updated and don´t go blank after while.

I really don´t understand what´s so difficult about it, most artist do just fine.
