I just love vinyl. I don't have a record player but will buy anything by Prince wether its old or not, I have about 30 Prince items, mostly albums and singles, but a lot of 12 inch extended singles.

Its a Thunder 12 inch picture disc, appears to be a german pressing, in really fresh condition, don't think its been played. Good shot too.

Pop life 12 inch and a weird Batdance 12 inch, playing the disc, has 4 cuts, all seem to be mixes of Batdance (Possibly Femi Jiya?), funky as hell, does anyone else know about this single.

A new looking Sexy Dancer/Controversy 12 inch and a Alphabet street/this is not music, its a trip 12 inch. Vinyl bag as aged as you can see a s it was made out of PVC, fortunately record good as its in one of those clear record sleeve bags.

I know this stuff is mostly common, but I love it and would love to see some stuff you guys have as well.

Who knows if we get enough posts, the mods may make it a sticky. But please no requests to buy and sell stuff, its merely like a trophy display thread.

Let it go 12 inch (Must be very late in the vinyl world)

Scandalous sex suite 12 inch, what I love about this one is how pristine the cover and record appear. This one has hardly been played at all. I thought it was cheap at $7.95 ($6.70USD).

The joy of having all this music digitally or CD format means these records will never have to suffer any further damage.

Sign o the Times/La la la Hee hee 12 inch with 10 minute mix of bside and surprisngly only edit version of sign. Good condition as well. The Most Beautiful girl, I have never seen it vinyl let alone own. Its the only Prince record I have with symbols on it. This is one is pristine.

eah I know, I had no other suitable surface, usually they are not allowed out of their covers. It was a once off a do or die thing.

I love that item (Gett Off Promo) thats rare.

I can assure you I am usually a lot more careful and cautious with my vinyl than this.

The Mojo interview Picture disc I got from a very good friend of mine who obtained it in Detroit when he was a teen. He kept in very very good condition, I have only played it once and it was pretty good!

The Charade album on "Planet Rock Records" I believe. All the titles were very hilariously mistitled, I believe to make shipments easier or copyright infringments....the album itself is low in quality and since has been much better sound that came out on later releases.

The Batdance 12" is the Promo Release with the 2 remixes from the US 12" and radio edits of each.

I also have that Charade disc, my is also a planet rock and it has those weird track names on it. The cover has dark purple lettering and says "Planet Rock Records Paris 1987"

Mine has a different coloured label to yours, its in red and it says "Post Revolution Noise, presents a naked love performing a charade"

I seen on line there is a promo cd with the edited tracks

but ive never seen them floating on line.. it would be nice to add to the collection

But im sure its nothing major

That charade album was worth it for having "Heaven" on vinyl alone right? The interview disc is really candid. The other side just as the same picture as the front cover.

I got a lonng way to go, but this adventure with Prince lasts forever, so I got a while to collect all of his stuff. I am first trying to accomplish the albums themselves! I need about 12 more to finish!

Only then, I can start the B-sides and all the rarities! IF I am blessed to find them! Lol

I've been collecting for 30+ years. Again, mostly just 12" singles. There are many I don't have. Many, many. A lot of them were bought when they were new, some from record shows, tons from e-bay and even the org. I haven't bought any in the last couple years, with a wife and 2 kids and a budget it makes it a kittle bit harder.

Finky, those singles are dope. I don't know where you are but can tell you that all is fans in New Zealand and Australia, had all the singles and albums with the WEA imprint.

Most of my stuff is only scarce because of that as New Zealand stopped pressing records in 1989 and later ones were imported from Australia, but in 1992 we were reduced to two labels, Sony and BMG both of which bought out Warner and Polydor here (Polydor had the Motown roster).

Sorry to see this thread die so soon. I love looking at vinyl. Anyone have a complete (or close to complete) album collection they'd like to share?
