I never really listened to this song when i was released/leaked a few years back. But today I accidently ran into it, and it wasn't as bad as I remember it was. Too bad about that little bit of autotune that Prince thought was needed, but a nice little track anyway.

Any thoughts?

Quite a bland, boring track. I wish he'd write songs that made me feel something as opposed to middle of the road fluff like this and "Same Page, Different Book."

When did he start custom-catering songs for your taste?

I totally understand your point, though. It was as if he has been on auto-pilot for the last few years with his own material. I hope that this year lives up to the hype.

I think I would listen to this track more if I didn't have to hear the radio announcement every here and there. It frustates me. lol

i haven't listened to this in a while. i remember being bored with it by the end the last time. kinda an interesting premise and some decent lyrics i can remember. the beat is alright, old school erotic city-ish, but it's a little slow and it doesn't help much

I never said he had to custom-cater to me. I love Future Soul Song and Here and find them to be quite moving. I haven't heard a song of his that felt like it was emotional in a long time is all I'm saying.

You would think that it was some kind of groundbreaking song with all the radio crap over it. It would have been the worst song on 20Ten. At least Everybody Loves Me and Laydown had some nice music to go with the silly lyrics and vocals.

I started liking it once this clear version leaked. There's something about the production that reminds of '89 era Prince. Can't really pinpoint it though.

same here. didn't pay it much mind until I got ahold of the better version. and I agree, there's something Batmanish about its sound.
