I've got the samples and while they are not the same soundboard quality as the Utube clips from 3rdeyegirl they are far from sounding bad. Actually pretty good for an audience recording. Not sure what you heard. I'm not an audiophile but I'm pretty picky about sound quality. Housequake for example sounded pretty good to me. No lacking of bass in the samples I've got.

No offense but didn't you say someone who heard them told you they were bad? Did you listen for yourself?
