RodeoSchro is right on this one. Many are chewing on poststarters ass, calling him out to be a liar, using arguments against him, that he didn't post at all. We are not resolving important questions, we are just pointing out the harsh arogant stupidity some people put on display, when they point fingers, without even reading the information they so eagerly use themselves.

If the guy even gets hate mail, it just shows how emotionaly unstable some of people are. Has nothing to do with answering humanity's deepest questions also. But THAT IS harsh.

About the the tape. I don't know. Only Mguerrero92 knows. We had nothing of this sort for 25 years, we still don't, and nobody's life will be shattered if it is a hoax.

The only cams on that night were the stage cam and a handycam on a tripod from a staff member which was confiscated 45 minutes into the gig...

There were some more cameras in the house but were not on. THere was a documentary in the making about the Hague and its nightlife. They were filming before Prince came to play. They got the choice to turh their stuff off and stay for his show or leave. They stayed (and actually regreted that they did because they hated the performance and songs aka not hits).

The guy who tossed me the ticket of that night was one of those people and never understood why I was fan.

The venue didn't have a ceiling spotlight to shine down on anything... Again, if you had any clue as to what this venue looked like...

The stagecam was the venue cam pointed at the stage from above the soundboard... This tape was copied for 2 people and then erased... 1 of these people has it stashed in her attic gathering dust and gumming up, the other person commited his copy to VCD then again to DVDR in around 2000 to archive it...

This footage is in no way or couldn't be mistaken for "Pro shot" footage...

(Magnoli and) his filmcrew were in Amsterdam earlier that evening where they were negociating to play and record at Paradiso...

Paradiso fell through and the rest is history...

Online would indicate "public" to me. Not on some provate server or website. But maybe that's what he means?

I'm quite sure if this was circulating we'd know about it, now i'm not so much about videos so i may have missed it ^^

the replies for this thread remind me of many many years ago when i would ask around for pro shot Zep footage ---back then there was NONE. and get this ..i was told Page didnt EVER want to be videotaped...so he wouldnt allow it.....u see my point ....try to discourage people from seeking out the truth.

So basically you're saying that there probably IS a pro shot of Small Club..but the fact remains that if so, probably only three people have it. And thats the way it will stay. IF..there is one.

what? I know I've seen a pro shot b&W video of a younger leaner Led Zepplin concert that my friend boasted was so much better than the dinosaur era Zep theatrical mess that was released in theaters.
