Well sorry Prince, Beyonce 's taking you down this year.

Psych!! lol
Nice to have the game and Beyonce in our fair city, but never been too impressed with Bey.
Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

It was a terrific terrific performance.

Prince was really on top of his game during those weeks.

Of course, I knew that he would eventually do or say something stupid shortly thereafer. And he didn't dissapoint.

RRA

I more admire that Mr. P did it in the rain (and very well in spite of that) and had to wear sandpaper in his shoes so he wouldn't become dead as fried chicken on live global TV if I remember that anecdote correctly.

I did think untraditional at the time he played "Watchtower" and cover the Foo Fighters instead of squeezing in another greatest hit or 2, but it works and its trademark Prince.

(Contrast that when the disasterous Black Eyed Peas tried to do the same thing with a wasted Slash cameo. Jesus that show sucked.)
