W.E.S.T. = Call My Name?

Listening to the first 3:30 of W.E.S.T. and it mirrors Call My Name tempo & bass line wise. They could of been cut around the same time methinks. Yes I'm bored..

Yeah. I suspect "Call My Name" was a result of Prince turning that section of "West" into a proper "song" so-to-speak. A nice little insight into the creative process. As a member of an originals band myself, that's how we write a lot of our stuff - just jam for a while and then pick out the good bits and expand on them.

I said, upon the first listen, that "West" would make a cool song with lyrics 'n all. Presto, change-o, a lil while later and, BLAM! "Call My Name" comes along. Sweet.

Must b telemapathical or something. wink (Prince, keep your antennas up; I got more). lol
