Prince has a signature guitar sound, and it's great when it's a feature of a larger arrangement (Positivity comes to mind right now) but for an entire show, that sound would really wear thin. My Legacy

I must stand in defense of boss pedals.Boss makes some of the best guitar pedals in the market.Prince had a very nice sound 1979-1984.His guitar become more sintetic when he started using those Prince symbol and cloud guitars.if you take a listen at Prince's sound with Fender you will notice that nowdays Prince have the most natural warm distorted sound | |

Prince is two musical artists these days. There's the inspired, energetic live performer who makes you believe he's still got it, and then there's the bored studio artist phoning it in with perfunctory performances.
Maybe the quiet studio space just doesn't move him anymore. I dunno. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
