Sign O' the Times Remix? Sign O' the Times was a big dance chart hit for Prince..reaching #2 ,but it's listed as a Remix in Billboard. I have the 12inch which is of course the LP version,but is there an actual remix to the song? | |

I believe test pressings... The mixes exist, hard to know if they were created as a fake test pressing. But those mixes exist ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I took the Instrumental version that is at the end of the 'Sign O The Times' movie, and tacked it on top of the album version (in case you didn't know, the instrumental version of SOTT at the end of the movie has many parts that aren't on the album version).
My version ended up being 6:14

I did buy this 12 inch vinyl in HMV as an IMPORT, back in the late 80's.

Its rather different, a kind of "Jazz-pop" version IIRC.
