i'm really starting to wonder what this is a lead in to

It's not beating the bootleggers when you don't make any money, and the bootleggers upload the audio, tweak it a bit, raise the volume and bass a bit, and put it on a pressed disc, and make money from it before Prince does anything with it.

It's about as mysterious as the Stripper acting all nice to your buddy, and your buddy thinks the Stripper REALLY likes him. Really mysterious. I was barely paying attention to any of this, and knew Prince was behind it.

All you have to do is think logically for a few seconds. Since like 1998, there have been very few studio leaks at all. The holes were plugged when after nearly 15 years of losing millions to bootlegs, Prince finally figured out that giving tapes and cds away was why all these bootlegs were out there, and the leaks stopped.

As much as I love him, it is funny how naive he really is. He's obviously a very smart person, but signs this supposed 100 million contract at age 33, and has no idea what a "Master" is, until after signing the contract. The he cries like a baby, puts "SLAVE" on his face, and ....You know the rest.

Absolutely agree.

I like to see the girls having a ball.

A band that is having fun joking around will make better music, because they enjoy it. And smiling artists are always more fun to see on stage than the coked up drama queens.

I like the lighthearted jokes. I like this way of contact with the fanbase.

And sure, some fans don't like it, they can just pay attention to the music and ignore the silliness.

I think this is an older pic though, there's a few of them where she's messing around with a mirror. I just thought maybe if she is 3rd eye girl then this is where the nick name came from.
