Prince to walk Camino de Santiago? Miko Weaver post on his FB that Prince called him to walk the Camino de Santiago, a pelgrimroute, with him.

30 day hike from france to spain........................gigle giggle giggle wonder if he invited him so he could get a piggy back when the going got tough............i wonder how long into the trek will the novelty wear off and the reality set in............gigle giggle gigle...

 I know a guy who did it. But im pretty sure it is a heck of a lot longer than 30km!! He stayed in monasteries en route through the mountains, but don't know if Prince would though! Another pilgrimage continues up through France & finishes at Rosslyn chapel I think, just outside Edinburgh. Now that is a fascinating & beautiful place to see. Funnily enough, yesterday I bought my mum a gift of little drop pearl earrings that had a tiny golden shell at the top, which reminded her of St.James of Compostela & we were talking about this just last night at dinner! Rosslyn Chapel is where the Holy grail was rumoured to have be hidden, but I've also heard talk of it being hidden in a woodland in Ayrshire.[Edited 12/30/12 6:26am] | |

No I said 30 day hike............it would be an epic journey.....wonder why he wants to do this.........he must be contemplating his spiritual path again.............hope he leaves the JW's............

Ha ha, in tune with Mr Nelson? I could only dream of that possibility!!  Yes my mum really like her earrings, I think! They were just a minding to remember what would have been her golden wedding anniversary.Found the link from The Sun newspaper from a few years back that speculated the Holy Grail could've been in Ayrshire, Scotland! http://www.thesun.co.uk/s...nning.html There's a large woodland area near this town which was planted in a Celtic cross design & some historians were there last summer I think looking at the possibility of hidden tunnels leading to the Abbey in the town, if memory serves me right. Who knows! But I am digressing from the thread theme so I'll sign off now!  | |

I did some of it last year! Prince, don't wear high heels if you do it. And if you do it in the summer set off early, by midday the heat is unbearable! And let me know when you get to Rioja, you can stay over at mine if you want to! | |

I wonder, as a JW's member is Prince able to walk onto "camino de Santiago"??? I am also quite sure that whenever one wants to collide and commune with nature and God, doesn't need to do a certain route..Walking through the Atlas, or Middle Atlas during Spring is quite an experience, or in any part of the world where nature is still genuine and hasn't been littered , where there isn't pollution..by human beings..Of course for a christian, to walk through a "path" of such a well known saint might strengthen faith.. I myself, enjoy everyday when I go to work, I look up in the sky and feel gifted to still be able to look, appreciate the shading of colors given to me. Whenever a baby or a child smiles at me, I feel gifted and thank the almighty for the LOVE I see into their eyes. What meant to say is: We make our own way to Heaven everyday, no need to go through another man's past route. Everyone has it's own way to do so, as long as it's in harmony with one's belief an faith We make our own way to heaven everyday
