Actually, I found it a pretty disapointing album not quite along the lines of Chaos and Disorder dissapointing, but still none the less, disapointing, saved (IMHO) by Prettyman.

Anyway we are getting away from the point. I can't vote off LCD just cus the young lady does not appear to be enjoying it quite as much as her counterpart in Lovesexy. Did someone say "Rape"? I am not even going down that line of enquiry for fear of the "SNIP".

Lovesexy is slammin' and jammin' and in general exudes a more "party" vibe than LCD.

If I had to decide between which one I'd want to hear, I would choose Lovesexy, even though I initially voted it off.

LCD – falsetto & "lower-mid alto" harmony, fitting perfectly into (but not overpowering) the music
Lsxy – mostly full, throaty "lower-mid alto", with complimentary falsetto bg singing
advantage: LCD

Drums/percussion:
LCD – funky, thumping bass drum similar to "Irresistable Bitch", raw yet frolicking snare (again, à la James Brown's "Funky Drummer"), punchy, classic drum machine, EXCELLENT drum solo/rhythm guitar riff near end of the song
Lsxy – standard, "fast" mid-tempo beat
advantage: LCD

Guitar:
LCD: nice, James Brownish rhythm guitar, very dancable; punctuated by a crazy, screaming "4 part" guitar solo
Lsxy: bursts of "speed metal guitar" at the beginning.. after which.. standard if unremarkable

LCD: repetitive yet funky "slap & pluck" low end.. quite funky, in fact

You didn't say which 1 you prefer, though..!

Why would U even think 2 compare these 2 songs in the first place? They are so way different 4 a 1000 reasons, that 2 step 2 music like that has no real sense 2 it. I like hear one more then the other as I love LCD, but 2 match them up head 2 head lick 4 lick truly is a bit silly. 2 me anywayz...2 songs 2 different musical eras 2 different messages 2 different levels...

Just recently got into Lady Cab Driver and I think I prefer this song to Lovesexy. It's a good little tune.
