Piano based Prince songs.....They NEVER fail! Yes he's more known for his funk/rock oriented songs with bass and guitar but my personal favorites have always been Piano based songs that are minimally produced. Shame some of these were never released but I think he should do more songs like these because they are simply superb...wouldn't you agree?

I wish would play more pianobased albums like ''one nite alone..'' but i am happy he did at least one..

Totally agree, especially over Electric Intercourse and Screams of Passion (The lighter u touch it, the more it does, its sensitive to the touch) But add to the list

I love it at live shows when he sits down at the piano how the audience just calms down and everyone is focused on him. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all  up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

I also love the soundcheck version of "When We're Dancing Close & Slow". I just think the Piano is the best complimentary sound for Prince's vocals while some guitar based songs tend to overshadow his vocals with it's sound, especially at live shows.
