Songs like The Wedding Feast,Ronnie Talk To Russia,Everybody Loves Me are considered to be among Prince's weakest work.why??? For example the Feast song is there to turn the album more to a lighter side.Everybody Loves Me was hated so much ,but how come ppl didn't realised it's a very ironic song ?

Wedding Feast is obviously humorous.

Ronnie Talk 2 Russia and that other thing you mentioned shouldn't ever be compared, ever.

Neve been much of a fan of Ronnie.

I will never listen to Wedding Feast outside of the album and it's surely never intended to be a standalone piece? It's fine for what it accomplishes on the album.

I think many fans take Prince's songs for granted.i doubt that the message of Everybody Loves Me means what the title says.i think it's ironic song set in a happy mode to mask darker subjects. Wedding Feast on the other side is a funny lament,it's like Prince wants to cool off a bit of heavy subjects of the album.
