Little Girl Wendy's Parade "Little Girl Wendy's Parade" was the original title to Christopher Tracy's Parade during the time that the lead-role in UTCM wasn't played by Prince but by Wendy (?).
When they decided that the part was going to be played by Prince, the title of the ..parade.. song was changed from 'Wendy's' to 'Christopher Tracy's'. In Kiss, the lyrics still mention 'Little Girl Wendy's Parade'. These are the small gems that make it fun to be a Prince fan. Here's the lyrics, so you can see: Uh! U don't have 2 be beautiful 2 turn me on I just need your body, baby, from dusk till dawn U don't need experience 2 turn me out U just leave it all up 2 me, I'm gonna show U what it's all about CHORUS: U don't have 2 be rich 2 be my girl U don't have 2 be cool 2 rule my world Ain't no particular sign I'm more compatible with I just want your extra time and your . . . . . kiss U got 2 not talk dirty, baby, if U wanna impress me U can't be 2 flirty, mama, I know how 2 undress me (Yeah) I want 2 be your fantasy, maybe U could be mine U just leave it all up 2 me, we could have a good time CHORUS Yes, oh I think I wanna dance, uh Gotta, gotta, oh Little Girl Wendy's Parade Gotta, gotta, gotta Women, not girls, rule my world, I said they rule my world Act your age, mama, not your shoe size, maybe we could do the twirl U don't have 2 watch Dynasty 2 have an attitude, uh U just leave it all up 2 me, my love will be your food (Yeah) U don't have 2 be rich 2 be my girl U don't have 2 be cool 2 rule my world Ain't no particular sign I'm compatible with! I just want your extra time and your kiss ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In fact, everytime I dance to that song, I sing the "Little Girl Wendy´s Parade"-line extra-loud, just to show off! See the man with the blue guitar, maybe one day he`ll be a star...

I'm not convinced (just as I know you're not - judging from the question mark) that it was ever the intention for the lead to be played by Wendy (or a character of that name).
I think it at least as likely that Prince wrote and recorded the song with 'Little Girl Wendy' in the title either because it wasn't originally planned for the film, or it was just a working title pending the decision to call the lead character, Christopher Tracy. Clocking in at 40:52, I've never understood why another song from the film wasn't included on the album. When it came out, Parade was his shortest album since Controversy (37:11). Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

Yea, the "Wendy was the lead" theory don't sound right...

Wendy as the lead in UTCM?? Never, EVER heard that theory before
I think it was just a little ditty using Wendy as the central name/character in the song, and Prince adapted it for the film/OST. --------------------

Now you KNOW I gotta sing it loud and proud! My daughter actually asked me if he sings that part for me...she can't comprehend that I don't actually know Prince or why I can't see him or talk to him when I have went to his concerts. When I called home from the Vegas concert, she wanted to know what Prince was doing. Oh to be young and innocent again. If U set your mind free, baby, maybe U'd understand...

Oh! I always thought that line was:
"You could win this today..." (and then the guitar solo)

On the other hand, the official lyric/score Parade book renders the line as : "U go in this parade". So who's right? . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."

Now that one, I gotta see. Can you imagine : Wendy playing a hoar in the South of France, trying to get into the daughter of the richest man's pants? Can you picture Wendy making out with Mary in the telephone booth? I don't wanna picture it! I can't even begin to imagine it! ____________________
