Just wanted to say I recently got 5 of the Japan SHM-CD's of some Prince re-releases. I have to admit the sound quality is much better than I thought it would be. I'm not sure it would be worth the cost to most fans, but for me they absolutely are. Figured I'd share this for anyone who may have been thinking about getting them. I got Purple Rain, Parade, Lovesexy, 1999, Sign O' The Times. All sound so much better.

Yeah that was a downside, but if you have iTunes you can seperate them out yourself while burning the CD. You just have to change the start and stop time 9 times and burn each track 1 by 1.

but I own a tracked Lovesexy cd already,

the european release is now tracked afaik.
