Have Prince's songs inspired U in any way? .... About 2 months ago, I heard Pink Cashmere. I didn't know what it was about that song, Prince hadn't even started singing yet, but it sparked a flame. As the song progressed I could just imagine myself twirling on the stage, and becoming one with the music. There was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to start dancing again.
Right now I'm in training. Eating healthier, stretching, jogging, reading up on dance techniques, trying in gym class, instead of half-assing everything!
GOD I can't wait to start ballet again, and someday I hope I can perform a piece to Pink Cashmere. <3

A lot of his songs inspired me to take to writing poetry again because of the lyrics. I also got back on track with my dream of becoming a film maker after watching Purple Rain and Graffiti Bridge. Purple Rain just left me feeling good about my dreams and Graffiti Bridge affirmed that there's an audience for even the worst movies out there (I get why everyone hates that movie, but I actually enjoy watching it) and I really respect Prince's effort to express himself with that movie, even though it was a mess.
