Doubtful you'd get a legal threat for a facebook fanpage there must be dozens of them already.

Hello.

I have managed a group dedicated to Prince on Facebook for a long time and I had no issues apart from some warnings related to copyright sent by Facebook after I uploaded some of his videos. Those videos are still there, but I am not permitted to upload similar stuff again.

I know he declared internet as being dead, but I adore him and I have to express it somehow...

Thanks for your concern. I just hope he will go online one day to see how many people love him and listen to his music.

If he didn't care about his fans he wouldn't perform in live concerts or private shows.

The issue with the internet is that anyone can download music and videos without paying a penny for anything.

I think that's why most of the artists are against it and use copyright laws.

I don't think it has anything to do with religion.

He would not perform live if he didn't love his fans.

I have been to one of the "21 Nights in London" live concerts and I have seen the way he interacts with the audience.

He's just fantastic!

it is true what I wrote, Prince does not like fan clubs/ sites, haven't you heard about the Controversy fan club back then, in the early 1990's?

Closed down... all because of Prince and his lawyers,

same with Prince-family newsletter (later the Ø-Family),

Uptown.com from sweden got a Prince lawsuit,

and the latest: the site from holland, housequake.com a few years back.

Sorry if I harmed your feelings, but this is the behaviour from Prince.

He does not like his own fanbase, he is often fighting against fans, and YouTube etc....

Oh I was agreeing with you! I am saying how sad it is that you'd have to send that reply instead of chiming in on how much Prince truly loves his fans. Ask Imago, Prince hates his fans

There are too many prince fan groups out there already on fb....I dont even bother liking or joining anymore...plus people with fb radio groups and the like...always posting pics/vids/songs and tagging my ass and generating emails...and i keep have to edit my settings on fb.....dont get me started..lol
