Dear .Org,

Surely, I can't be the only one who likes the following songs?

Jughead

Right The Wrong

Wedding Feast

Arms of Orion

Orgasm

Of course, they aren't anywhere near my all-time favourite songs by Prince (e.g. If I Was Your Girlfriend, Power Fantastic and When Doves Cry), but I still appreciate them as part of the collective whole. Personally, I think Wedding Feast is absolutely delightful and cannot understand anyone thinking otherwise, but then again, I absolutely love Prince's deep voice throughout The Rainbow Children. I will say, though, that I much prefer the guitar solo in Orgasm as it was originally in Private Joy instead.

Anyway, are there any other songs that you absolutely HATE? I am just curious whether there are others, like me, who might appreciate their redeeming features.

But, I can find things I like about all of the songs you listed.

A lot of my appreciation for music/life/art depends on looking for the things you like. Anyways...

Wedding Feast...a comedy bit like "Chili Sauce" mixed witha haughty musical.

Arms of Orion...perfect for a soundtrack. Kinda reminded me of MJ's "I just can't stop Loving you", but more sincere.

Orgasm...Prince guitars and Vanity moaning. What's not to like?

Right the Wrong... Prince drives an hour few hours west of Minneapolis and makes a country tinged ode to the badlands and the ills put upon Native Americans. Nice guitar work and rhythm.

Jughead...I am a staunch hater of this song. Mostly because Tony M is all over this cliche early 90's rap. It just seems so forced and fake. I do dig Prince's laid back rap in the middle...especially in the video version.

Well anything on the Come album has a deep place on my heart to a certain extent because that was the first prince album id ever heard and i was 8. Jughead is a fun song and i love to listen to it. I love Arms of Orion also idk wats not to like about it. s

I like the music of Jughead, it's the exact structure of Housequake. Same idea, done in Diamonds and Pearls style.

You all realize its a musical revamp of Housequake, right?

Maybe a bit younger but Yea. I bought the album when i was ten but my dad had it on cassette tape prior to that. My mom had to go with me to buy it lol. My dad had 3 Prince albums in his car. Black Album, Come , Rainbow Children. Haha I used to think that all of Princes different voices were different people.
