I really wanted to make the recent Chicago shows, but the prices were well above my Prince budget (really, the Welcome 2 Wherever shows have made me unwilling to travel or pay exorbitant amounts for tickets because I know what he's going to play and how he's going to play it). Even his after shows are as often filled with bland soul covers as they are obscure Prince tracks- no, that's not true. You would be much more likely to hear No Diggity or Brick House than you would be to hear Eye Like it There (or God forbid a song as fun as say Endorphinmachine). No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.
