RnR love affair --REMIX reviews??? how come nothing yet? they have been heard..

They're dull.
I wish we'd just get proper extended versions like the old days. However, stretching that relatively forgettable (though pleasant) song out like meatloaf might not be wise I guess.

I think the remixes are completely lame and they could have done a million times better with them.

This does not seem like the right song to get the remix treatment My Legacy

I've never heard a remix of any song that was better than, heck let alone as good as, the original.

As a completist I would like to be able to buy and download the mixes - silly games that they are not available on i-tunes or from the purple music website.
Does he not want the $€£$€£$€£ ?

Dull and uninspired. The beat and limited keyboards sound like they were programmed in 3 minutes, and then they just let it roll. The only thing I got halfway excited about was the little extended part in the "original version." The "stripped down" remix was better than the "club mix," because it had some guitar in it. I assume it's Prince playing guitar.
I'm probably like most of the people on here, and long for the old days of getting a cd single or 12" single with and actual remix or extended version, and a b-side. Who remembers running down to the record store hoping the new single is in? Something about googling "prince torrent" doesn't pack the same punch.

I am actually pleasantly surprised. The original extended mix adds some welcome flourishes and a (short) bridge to the radio edit. The club mix does not really move me; not because it is bad but because I do not like these kind of house mixes to begin with. It is the stripped down mix that really got my attention. The added guitar and the growling electro bass turn an anotherwise lighthearted pop song into a sinister sibling of a Come outtake. The guitar alone (I assume Prince's) is worth checking it out!
