Decades later and they're still showing PR and UTCM on the movie channels

Was trying to figure out what other musical influenced movies from the 80's are still being shown with some regularity

Which movie channels? Which country?

I feel sure there are many music related movies from the 80s still shown fairly regularly in some countries.

Y'know what? Over the weekend, I saw musical-influenced movies from the 1930s! omfg

Probably the best musical ever made. It isn't my personal favorite (that would be Top Hat), but it's generally recognized to be the best of 'em all.

Footloose and Flashdance. They always show those two lately.

Xanadu been making the rounds every month too on cable.

They NEVER show Hard To Hold though.
