Which movie channels? Which country? I feel sure there are many music related movies from the 80s still shown fairly regularly in some countries. Just somewhere in the middle,

Probably the best musical ever made. It isn't my personal favorite (that would be Top Hat), but it's generally recognized to be the best of 'em all. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

Xanadu been making the rounds every month too on cable.
They NEVER show Hard To Hold though.
