I wonder why Prince won't just start his own youtibe channel? He could control his content and give the fans some exclusive footage. I know it won't happen but what would you wanna see on his channel?

1) Second Coming footage - the pics have interest peeked to the highest to get a chance to see some of it.

2) reharsals - I know he records EVERY THING I would love to see some more reharsal footage of the Dirty Mind Era band

3) Unreleased videos - I know he has a few LET US SEE THEM!

4) Backstage footage - Just to see the other side of Prince the not so serious cat ya know?

It would probably suck.

Would be a good idea, provided he is willing to deliver the desired content and share the proceeds with youtube.

Better even would be a ecnirp website where you can order or download just about anything.

It's a great idea and exactly what he should do (although the audio quality might be still a bit too low for using it as the main outlet for officially distributing new pieces of music).

He wouldn't need to put everything there, but the NPGMC way of offering bits and pieces from different eras along with new material could work.
