What on earth has that got to do with being a true fan??? That has got to be the lamest comment I have EVER heard. The picture is taken at an excellent X-mas party some friends and I had last year. And it reminds me of an excellent time. And if you can - then please tell me what on earth not having "Gold" on CD has got to do with being a true fan. If you can give me an answer to that one - hell you should run for president next time!! Because a true fan would have one of Princes best releases on cd...I mean duh!"Yall dont know!" what happened at the xmas party btw..did yall get blitzed? Yes, I have all Prince's releases on CD but in the beginning I hadn't but that didn't make me any less of a fan - did it??? It probably even made me more of a fan because I was willing to listen to his music on a much poorer quality and on top of this I was not even able to skip through weaker numbers (such as "We March" on Gold) easily. And how about the NYC tape that The Man was selling off NPG last year. That was only out on tape. I have that - does that make me any less of a true fan then??? ;o) Xmas party - yeah we all got blitzed and absolutely totally wasted so I have quite a lot of funny pictures which I often look at and just can't help stop laughing. --------------------------------------------------

First thing: If you choose nót to buy the music the man has put out, meaning you don't have Emancipation for example, you see it for $5 and then decide nót to buy it, you're not entitled to call yourself anything near a fan. Just stick with liking-the-music. There's no incontrovertible definition of what a fan ís, but trying to get or having all the official albums would be a nice start!
