Everyone's mentioned different tracks as their faves... I think that counts as a success! Definitely one I pull out a lot (though "Get on the Boat" is "Prettyman"-lite).
Take the best parts of 3121 and LotusFlow3r together and you have a perfect CD. |

Prince had big plans for 3121. But Universal putting a halt to him using his SNL "Fury" per4mance as a video. Put a deadly halt to everything. Prince lost interest quickly after that. Then of course the out of no where filing for divorce from Mani & the pulling the plug on Tamar's "Milk & Honey was the nail in the coffin..  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. | |

my 6 year old son, commenting on 3121 (song) last night while driving down the highway...
'you know that woman in return of the jedi with the long mouth and the band? she sounds like the girl that sings this song'.
anyway, it's one of his favorite albums. he said, whilst listening to 'love', that he wanted to flip out the car window backwards and dance on the roof while we drove down the road. |

The title, and opening track, has a good introduction until Prince's vocals start - and the whole album goes downhill after that. love the cd...3121/The Word/Love/Fury/Black Sweat/The Dance..are my faves but i thought it was a great cd and contains 1st recorded song w/ prince playing horns-"The Word"
