TLC "Trading Spaces" designer pimps "Lovesexy"

Any one watch "Trading Spaces"?

Then you know by far the most talented designer on this show, and voluptous, is Genevive Gorder! On the Trading Spaces website she answers two questions:

Q: What cd have you warped from overplaying?

A: "Lovesexy" by Prince!

Q: If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you want to be stranded with?

A: Prince, or D'Angelo..and I don't mean the albums!

It figures...just watch the show and you know the lady has style. What consistantly amazes me is how artists and designers pimp this album. From people in the public eye to classmates in art college. I've never fully "got" Lovesexy, but it obiviously hits people deeper that what the media always tells us what Prince's best work is: "Purple Rain", "1999", "Sign o the Times"...

There's something in the colors, layers, textures, vibe, and originality that speaks to creative people. "Lovesexy" over "Raspberry Beret"? "Eye No" over "Theives in the Temple"?"Glam Slam" over "Little Red Corvette"?"I Wish U Heaven" over "Cream"?Apparently so...

Genevive Gorder is never wrong!

LOVESEXY did touch me deeper than the usual commercial songs...it was a happy album, it was a certain period in prince's career and my life, growing up...when i realized more about god and satan, the choices in my life, to be aware of what is to come, whats in store for me as a human being, sexuality and politics too, but more so, me becoming a man that i always aspired to be now!

I Still listen to LOVESEXY in car...loud and proud...because its the album that i gaged alot in my life around and its one album that has a big influence in my world!

I LOVE THIS RECORD...Its the best!!!
lyrics artwork and music too!

I know there is a heaven and a hell, I know there is a heaven and a helll.

"warning2all" LOL MR. YUCK is MEEN MR. YUCK is GREEN. LOL

Just for a note of perhaps, laughter...

LOVE AND SEX go hand in hand, it's the thoughts that you put n2 ACT that makes LOVE and SEX "LOVESEXY".
A touch ain't a touch, unless U got the TOUCH of heaven.
Perhaps U CAN WISH UPON A STAR...
A WISH U heaven by far w/ LOVE than your own mind can imagine.
(this is where u put ur knight suit on fellahs)
U realise U are more than U ever could B with a simple "touch" of chivalry.

So in completing this gesture of "NO WARNING...
Unless! This only 1 WARNING, if "U" a noble man blooming, can listen to LOVESEXY for a bit longer than u normally would, U JUST MIGHT SOW A SEED AND FIND "UR FAIR LADY".

SO dont b so apt to let your mind "TRICK U" with
"TRICKADEE SAUSAGE, but LET YOUR PIMP in U B FREE for perhaps a lifetime and
FIND THE KNIGHT CHIVALRY in U.
GET READY FOR an AMAZING "LOVESEXY LIFE".

P.S.
U can put on a lovesexy shirt and WRITE "LIFE" under it if U WANNA. TO KEEP the charge goin!

And that my fine, friends of planet "earth" ...is my NON "WARNING 2 ALL 2 U".

thank u.
With LOVE
SingMia
rose reading if U have to kick a stone, why not just JUMP OVER IT...a stone aint gonna hurt ya BUT it might if a bigger one comes by to roll over U, next time...cuz U kicked "it's friend...signed the Philosopher's STONE in a RIVER..."SingMia"

It's nice to see some people who dig this album other than the fans here. "Lovesexy" is sheer art at its most ecstatic, innovative, and uplifting.
