it is pretty good really - too much of that mini-interview crap with misc people he like to use to tell the viewer how great he is though - just show the performance !

however I think the live footage is from the final night in London which is great as I was there, even with too few songs on the dvd it was ok - but can see why he thought why bother releasing it

dunno why the live footage is such bad quality compared to the the interviews...compare this to lovesexy live or even the LA 2004 bootleg DVD and the live segments are just such terrible quality....even makes the ONA vegas dvd look professional.... weird...for that reason I'm glad he didn't release this...

man, he really needs to get his shit together... the quality control has gone downhill ever since leaving WBs...sad really....

other than the very vrey average picture quality of the live segments, this is a geat thing to have

I can see why it was never released, but still a cool thing to have.

I'm saying this without having seen the DVD. My guess is that it was meant as a promotional dvd for something, possibly that opus ipod thingie. But like many many many many other projects in the past, Prince sees a shiny metal object aaaaand he's gone.

I don't understand how Prince couldn't just print up a couple thousand of these, and sell them on a website. How many tiny bands are doing this now? Sure he won't make millions, but when he doesn't release them he makes zero dollars.

Just watched the trailer and i'm so looking forward to it.

I will say the only downer (and it's a very small complaint) Is that I know the live footage was filmed in HD and looked better then this. He's just overlit and blurred the whole thing so his crows feet don't show. I wish he would leave all the over airbrushing and blurring video to look younger.

His performance was awesome and since I'm not looking for this to be the definitive statement of the 21 nights I don't mind the Celebs and cut aways.

Is there any aftershow footage from the Indigo?

The live stuff is from the same feed(s) that goes onto the screens during the shows.

It is not stuff specially made for dvd or broadcast, if there's any difference.

After I figured out how to unzip that weird stuff on a non-windoze platform the extraction was quite OK and appears to be not corrupted.

(the ZIP was 500 megs and the Z01 was 1900 megs yet the ZIP was supposed to be the END of the archive; which IDIOT erred from the age old convention of full size files first for ZIP, RAR, etc and at the end the remainder; i.e.: ZIP, Z01, etc in full size; final file is shorter)

i dont know enough to be able to explain it. but for some reason the mp4 looks clearer on my screen. too bad about the watermark on the screen tho. but that's a small quibble as it's free.
