did you see what i saw? Tell me it’s not just me. Something so blaring obvious to me, others must have picked up on what seemingly was going on behind the music. during the concert on August 6, 2011 when Prince and the NPG performed the main show in Copenhagen. prince, the master of metaphors, inspired this thread, and my interpretations of his actions I write in metaphors-->and their meanings

THE COURTSHIP

‘GOLD’ opens the show, a song that to me means he wasn’t fooled by Andy’s exterior because what really matters is what's inside her. Prince declaring to Ms. Allo that he wants to Fly her to the mountaintop, that he’s willing to spend the money to break the mold-->Marriage! Everybody wants 2 sell what's already been sold-->telling Ms. Allo he’s going to continue to push the edges of the envelope. Everybody wants 2 tell what's already been told --> Challenging Ms. Allo to continue to sing lyrics of controversy aimed to challenge people’s belief systems. What's the use of bein' young if U ain't gonna get old?--> He’s ready to grow old with her if she’s cool with that. Prince then yells “3 letters n-p-g” --> to me, it seemed like he was way more focused on P-&-Y (Prince-And-y) then he sings: All that glitters is gold, All that glitters is gold-->Saying Andy’s Glittering is gold! Before the spiritual ending: Na na na na na na na Na na na na na na na (Na na na na na na na) (Na na na na na na na) All that glitters all that glitters, oh yeah, Oh yeah you don’t know how good that sounds!

THE ANNOUNCEMENT

Playing a rousing 6 minute version of ‘GUITAR’ to lighten the mood, liven the party, dance and collaborate, everyone is rocking! It’s a celebration --> the announcement the two plan to tie the knot together!

THE INVITATIONS

There didn’t appear to be any problems with the sound quality during the 6 minute version of guitar, but suddenly Prince is making corrections to the sound quality before starting “Crimson & Clover”…His demeanor chagend…Noticeably he was tensed up a little... Before the song starts, Prince requests adjustments in the sound quality when everything sounded fine during ‘guitar’. …”Boy let’s get this Right! Come on Boy” -->the adjustments of the wedding invitations before the mail out…The first 3 minutes of ‘CRIMSON AND CLOVER’ (from 13:46-16:52) Prince purposefully never even glances at Ms. Andy Allo let alone in her Direction. He was playing to the crowd. “Copenhagen I think i love you” --> Wanting to make sure the guests know he loves them and that is why he is sending out the wedding invitations to them specifically…

THE PROPOSAL

Then the courtship starts when Prince stops looking into the crowd at 16:54 and turns his body toward Ms. Andy Allo’s as he starts playing his guitar and walking toward her,

the proposal getting down on one knee lowering the neck of his guitar below hers before raising his guitar up to her (17:02) --> as if he’s presenting her a ring …then circling her.

THE CEREMONY And it’s at (17:15-22) where Prince’s adorable joshing mannerisms in wooing and courting her and the look on her face, blushing, speechless feeling like she’s the luckiest girl in the world with pure smiles, right next to each other --> holding her hand in matrimony as if they are at the altar…then the sudden change from guitar playing to the playing of the keyboards --> signals the wedding band announcing to the invited guests the ceremony is about to begin...

THE EXCHANGING OF VOWS And then once again, the sudden preocuppation, the worry, the concern, the smell of vulnerability that suddenly permeated the air despite no windy weather, despite seconds earlier when celebrating the anticipating didn’t raise any questions of sound clarity…But it’s the desire...The Importance….Prince’s wanting to make it special…that the sound quality is perfect before --> the exchanging of vows:

Prince: Turn the lights down…I want it perfect for you! I want it perfect for you! It's all I can do! I want it perfect for you....

Andy: WAITING IN VAIN Andy is so happy encouraging the crowd to join her in clapping their hands in celebration, “from the very first time I placed my eyes on you boy, My heart said follow through. But I know, now, that I’m way down on your line, And the waitin feel is fine. So dont treat me like a puppet on a string, cause I know how to do my thing. Prince: turning the guitar up Prince rushes over to Ms. Andy Allo to play guitar with her while he is face to face shaking his head back and forth has she reciprocates in love --> Prince did this to assure her she won’t be waiting in vain for his love any longer

THE HONEYMOON

Take Me With U Prince and andy allo singing together every line of the song, together.…I can’t disguise the beating of my hear, it beats so strong, it’s in your eyes whtat can I say they turn me on, i don’t care where we go, I don’t care what we do, I don’t care pretty baby, just take me with you…. Whether it’s happened yet or not, I can’t ever remember Prince looking as happy and relaxed yet placing the majority of his attention in another woman while on stage…Even more importantly I think she is bringing out the best in his production.

The onlky thing wrong with the post is the elongated title and caps. That is NOT how you do this thing. Well it works for the low brows but...just no. Change the title to a simple word or small sentence. Dont be all Radio City Hall with it.
