Slow, Not Necessarily Romantic, Song List. Hello there, long list I'm afraid but would any of you like to add any that I may have overlooked? Boots, live, anything really.

How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore is a ballad about brokenheartedness like I Hate U, Gotta Broken Heart Again, 17 Days, Computer Blue, Something In the Water Does Not Compute, Condition of the Heart, Last Heart
the Ladder is about search for other purpose I never concluded that song about Romance
and International Lover is about straight out SEX, that could be a 1 night stand, a hooker, a girlfriend wife orgy but it's stright out SEX lol

Is there a term/word for songs of love loss,breaking up/broken hearted songs? I always saw Nothing Compares 2 U as a song like that, vs Screams of Passion which seems to me more about Romance, than hurt & loss | |

I did too at one time,
I look at romantic songs as a song that deals with the nuances of the loving dreamy sentimental aspect of the relationship, Nothing Compares 2 U is after the relationship is over very passionate though, Prince has a lot of good Love Loss songs especially in his 1st 3 albums and those 1976/77 outtakes | |

I know in a recent interview he said he doesn't like to write from anger, but anger isn't a bad thing and it can give a whole new passion to a song
I'm one that doesn't like to be out of control with feelings, so I understand but, I agree those ballads can be way to easy and unchallenging 4 him.
