Ok so have been enjoying Guy Sebastians album "Armageddon" which has made me look at his back catalogue - and I have come across his version of When Doves Cry on an album he released a few years ago (Just as I am). Wonder how he got away with that? I thought P did not let anyone cover his material?

His version of Doves is intersting - at least he makes it his own.

For those of you who may not know Guy - he is an Aussie singer but at the moment has a big song with American star - Lupe - called "Battle Scars"

It's not that P won't let anyone cover his songs, it's just he doesn't have any control over who does as long as they pay royalties. This odesn't apply to every artist (i think) but it's obviously in the contract he signed.
