Do we have any FACT supporting the theory that ANY record company ever declined to release a Prince record since he left WB? If we do then OK, but as long as we don't I think Prince is still in his "alternate distribution models" experiments (for what they're worth, I'll give you that ).

Listened to this once a while back, don't care to ever hear it again. This will be the first time ever that I don't buy a new Prince record.

And yes, you better believe it. My obsessive collecting days are over. Time of life etc etc. Sold a lot of my Prince stuff over the last year or so too. I just can't justify spending money on things that I will never listen to anymore.

Still, at least there is a shitload of great music from the 80's and 90's for me to continue drooling over.

I remember back in the summer months how this site was full of "Where is Prince?", "Why no new music?" threads and I said it back then that the second he drops something all of the negative crap would flowback and it'd be forgotten what it's like when he doesn't release music. This song is good. No it's not groundbreaking but since when does every song have to be a mind altering, life changing experience to be good? I for one am glad that Prince still feels the need to make music especially in light of his disillusioment with the music industry(internet and all) seeming to be at an all time high. Keep it coming P!

I like it. It's smooth, radio friendly, great vocals and easy to sing along to. It's like Little Red Corvette but more soulful and nicer lyrics. I like the 'hello' bit and the and the sexy table fit bit It has wisdom 'ain't talkin rebound born of despair' and interesting enough chord wise. Easy to visualise song and enough variety to make listening the whole way through a pleasure. The 4 mins feels like 2.

This song is so piss poor it doesn't even warrent a response, oh wait a minute...
